Beer is good. Bread is great, and bread pudding is just crazy good. Why not combine the three and make BEER BREAD PUDDING! {can I get an AMEN!?} And if that’s not savvy enough, what about PUMPKIN BEER BREAD PUDDING??? Ummmm..s o l d! This would be so festive and such a treat for your Halloween guests next weekend! EnJOY!

3 cups flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1⁄4cup sugar

1(12oz) bottle Pumpkin Pale Ale beer

1 stick butter, melted

Bread Pudding:

2 tablespoons butter

4 eggs

2 cups whole milk

3/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together dry ingredients. Add beer, and combine while foaming. Add melted butter. Pour batter into a buttered loaf pan. Bake for one hour or until firm, be careful not to overcook. Once cooled, break bread into small cubes. Allow to stale in uncovered bowl overnight.

For the bread pudding, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Evenly distribute stale bread cubes into 8″ baking pan or cast iron skillet (I used miniature cast iron skillets for our guests. Cooking time will vary when using miniature pans.) Pour melted butter on top of bread. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk and sugar. Add cinnamon and vanilla extract. Pour mixture on top of buttered bread, and gently push down on bread with a spoon until bread has soaked up mixture. Bake for about 45 minutes. Garnish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, caramel drizzle or both. EnJOY!
