What a wonderful week it’s been having breakfast at Wimbledon! We’ve made it to the finals and are on the edges of our seats to find out who will take home this Grand Slam trophy! I’ve been dying to introduce you all to a divine Bloody Mary that I discovered at Anvil Pub in Dallas and cannot think of a better time to enjoy this recreation: Breakfast at Wimbledon Bloody Mary! Serving also as a brunch entree, this morning cocktail would even ease Rafa’s disappointment in not making it to the finals and would keep Sharapova shouting! EnJOY your Wimbledon weekend!

Breakfast at Wimbledon Bloody Mary

(makes 4 cocktails)

1 32 ounce Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup olive juice

2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

juice from one lime

1 teaspoon celery salt

1 1/2 cup good vodka

Mason Jar Seasoning:

1 tablespoon sea salt

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 lime, sliced

Garnish:

large stalks of celery

miniature sausage biscuits

tater tots

miniature waffles

strawberries

grapes

blueberries

In a large pitcher, combine all ingredients except the vodka. Chill in refrigerator overnight to allow all flavors to marry. Season the rim of your Mason jars by rubbing a slice of lime around the rim, then place the rim in the mixed seasoning above, if desired. To serve, stir in the vodka and pour in Mason jars over ice. Garnish with the breakfast ingredients listed above.  CHEERS!_JTR9649
