Having a jar of Herbs de Provence in our pantry is a must! Just a sprinkle or two will take you straight to the countryside in lovely Provence! This dried herb mixture is a common go-to when Michael & I grill; however, the sky is the limit when cooking with this large array of flavors! Herb crusted french fries, pizzas, fish, lamb chops, grilled veggies, chicken–you name it!
This is super simple to create, and will keep for weeks stored in an airtight container! EnJOY!
you will need…
(makes about one cup)
2 tablespoons dried rosemary, dried fennel, dried thyme, dried lavender, dried parsley, dried oregano, dried tarragon
1 tablespoon dried basil
3 bay leaves, crushed
Combine all dried herbs by using a mortar & pestle. Store in an air-tight container.
